Make sure that you are not paying the City of Madison Wheel Tax!
Residents of the Village of Shorewood Hills do not need to pay the City of Madison Wheel Tax. The Department of Transportation may assess that charge since Village residents have Madison mailing addresses. You will still need to pay the Dane County Wheel Tax, but make sure you aren’t overcharged.
